Our experience has enabled us to tailor to the site’s needs. Our menu is created from fresh ingredients and products sourced from our wide range of local suppliers which means that we can provide high quality food at competitive prices.
For large scale projects we offer hot displays and salad bars and for smaller projects, we provide cold food, sandwiches and coffee bars as well as vending machines. We can also provide hot food on smaller sites if required too. This enables us to cater for any number on a site with quality products and service.
We have approximated calorific values to assist customers in making healthier choices should they so choose and we ensure that our menu has healthy options available throughout the day. For those with Allergies, there is an allergen key at the base of all menus.
We use a registered food safety consultancy company to advise H&W of how to not only meet but exceed legal requirements as well as auditing all H&W sites from a non-biased perspective. This allows H&W to ensure the standards outlined are being met. In addition, we have audits carried out by our clients and by the Local Environmental Health Officer to ensure that our high standards are consistent and documented.
We have an extensive and company specific HACCP system in place which is used to determine which processes within the day to day running of the business should be monitored. This system is generally reviewed annually, however we see it as a working document and so amend it when there are any changes in current legislations or the way in which H&W procure, prepare, cook or serve food and drink items. The use of our HACCP system ensures that we are in line with all current legislations.

We have implemented a dedicated environmental programme where we constantly look at ways we can reduce our carbon footprint and where possible only use recyclable packaging and disposables.
Our main aim is to reduce the amount of single use cutlery and crockery and increase the multi-use items, whilst ensuring that the single use cutlery and crockery are fully recyclable or compostable.
